Cosmopolitan magazine surveys "The World’s Sexiest Men" and Johnny Depp takes the top spot being named the sexiest man in the world.

The 45 year-old actor, Depp, is famous for his quirky roles in films such as Edward Edward Scissorhands (1990), Sweeney Todd (2007) and perhaps his most well known role in Pirates Of The Caribbean, one, two and three, where he played the dashing, offbeat Captain Jack Sparrow.

Depp beat out Hollywood hunks such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Will Smith, Christian Bale and others.

It was recently reported that Depp may be receiving ($43.6 million) for his fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean Disney film. Already referred to as the "highest up-front pay-check in showbiz history," by Daily Mail.

Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Pirates Of The Caribbean and A Whole Lot Of Money!!

Daily Mail reports Johnny Depp will earn £32 million ($43.6 million) for his fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean Disney film, calling it the "highest up-front pay-check in showbiz history."

DM also says that the first three Pirates Of The Caribbean films earned $2.7 billion at the box-office according to an insider.

I don't care if you are rich or poor, that is a lot of money!!!!!

The Rumor mill is buzzing about Tim Burton possibly directing the fourth film in the series although they are saying to take the rumors with "grain of salt and a dose of pepper," because negotiations are still ongoing.

Most excitingly, there are talks of Captain Jack having a brother in the next movie, possibly to be played by Sacha Baron Cohen (perfect!) or Russell Brand (even more perfect!) Of course, that's probably just fantasy casting, but why would either of those comedians turn the role down? As we've mentioned before, the new movie might kick off a trilogy, which would revolve around Captain Jack's search for the Fountain of Youth.

Geoffrey Rush and director Gore Verbinski are apparently both planning to return, but... and this is a big maybe... Tim Burton might direct instead. Tim Burton! If there is a single director who could make people excited for a fourth Pirates movie, it has to be Burton. He's done so many amazing movies with Depp already, and might have the ability to make the new franchise as fresh and exciting as it was when the first movie came out. After all, Tim Burton is already making a movie for Disney, and if Alice in Wonderland is going well, you can see how they'd want to hang on to him

Once again, grain of salt, talks are ongoing and in Hollywood things can change faster than in politics.
